Hi Steve,

I use Mid 2014 Macbook Pro, macOS High Sierra,  with my KX3 for FT8 operation. 
Some modes of Mac do not have Audio-in jack. So you may need an external USB audio device.
In between Mac and KX3 is Griffin’s iMic. I use VOX instead of PTT.
