To use the P3’s I/Q signals with software applications, you have to format the data like a USB sound card, a standard that is widely used and requires no special drivers. A significant amount of firmware is required at the P3 end, but we’re definitely looking at this.
In answer to an earlier question: The P3 uses a very high-performance A-to-D converter, so the I/Q stream will have excellent dynamic characteristics (once we get it out of the box :)
