[Elecraft] K3 DVR issue

I am not sure why VOX would affect the DVR?  On SSB I use a KDVR3 activated
by my computer's F-keys and my VOX is on 100% of the time.

I've had the KDVR in a K3 since 2009 and my K3S since they began shipping
(S/N 10069, very early s/n). I've never had any issue like you describe. 

Have you contacted Elecraft customer support?

The recorder works just right 98% of the time.  Randomly, it hangs up in the
middle of a recorded message.  It just stops.  No audio, no RF, but the K3
