The only issue with CM500 is the ear pads eventually wear out. I've had mine about 10 years and they're still serviceable, but on their way out. For the low cost, replacing them every decade isn't horrible.
It's clear these are an OEM product made for Yamaha by Koss. Koss sells replacement pads for their headsets $5 with free shipping. Has anyone figured out the correct crossover Koss model to get compatible pads?
