[Elecraft] K3 Utility vs. RemoteRig?

Hi,
It's not a bug. The K3 utility uses many additional commands beyond the
published API. In addition, you can load firmware through the utility.
I would think that the remote rig controller relies on Ascii commands and
not binary transfers. It would be quite a risk to your radio to use any
product to transfer firmware or undocumented commands.
If you must do this remotely, then you should have a PC at the remote site
and then connect via something like TeamViwer.

This is a bug in the K3 Utility that you and I reported to Dick to fix in
February 2018. I am not sure where he is in getting this taken care of.
