I have one of these and I'd be interested in what you find out. Did you transmit into it by mistake?I'm pretty sure MFJ doesn't manufacture these but I would contact their customer service and see what they say.73,Gary K9GS

The manual also mentions an MCU reset switch, but I'm guessing that's outdated.
