[Elecraft] KX2 TX "Sticks On" in FT8?

I apologize if this isn't applicable here. I don't have the KX2, so this 
may be useless. However, I had the same issue going on with FT8 and 
other digital modes with my KX3 (basically, anything the computer keyed. 
Mic keying worked correctly, however). Nothing seemed to fix it, even 
changing between computers, different sets of Elecraft cables, etc. With 
the KX3, I opened it up and pulled both ends of the ribbon cable between 
the top and bottom halves of the radio. When put back together, 
everything worked like I champ. I can't say why it worked, but it fixed 
my problem. Again, I don't know if the KX2 has this open half design 
like the KX3 since I don't have one. But, I thought I would throw this 
out in case it does.
