[Elecraft] Elecraft's philosophy of community input on productdesign

20 plus years ago I slung some wire in a tree with a fishing pole at Yellow 
Stone Park and hooked it to a QRP Sierra. Was trying to activate scarce 
Wyoming and the park.  The only call I got on my CQs was N6KR.
                                                        That's another one 
of those things that makes Elecraft unique among well-known amateur radio 
bands.

It has often been stated, by both Elecraft and our customers, that we 
leverage user input as we flesh out new products. In this article I'll 
clarify our development model, hopefully elevating it above hearsay. It's 
intentional and methodical. We like to think it's one of the things that 
makes Elecraft unique among well-known amateur radio brands.
