Did you use set CONFIG:TX INH to Lo=Inhibit?  What are you connecting to K3
ACC pin 7 to inhibit transmission?  Did you supply 5V to that pin through a
current limiting resistor or did you get it from Pin 1?

But perhaps all you should do is increase CONFIG:TX DLY or your PTT IN
delay.
