[Elecraft] K3S HI SIGNAL

The internal band-pass filters are very narrowbanded and very high Q. I believe John was referring to external band-pass filters of the type used in multi-transmitter stations that may be operating at high power into antennas in each other’s near-fields.

The K3S and K3 can survive a lot of abuse of this type; it includes built-in signal detection and shut-down of various RX stages. But pumping many watts into the front end (due to tight antenna coupling) is never a good idea.
