[Elecraft] Bad KIO3B Board

I definitely have a bad KIO3B board (no band data output, no USB data or 
prompting when lugging into a PC). Since I still have the original KIO3 
board, can I replace just the digital board? Do I have to replace 
everything?? I really would like to know what went bad. I want to make 
sure the radio is OK.
