[Elecraft] Re who would spend 30 hours building a k2?

I think that building the K2 has to be an end in itself. I have more 
pictures of various pieces taped to colored construction paper than I do 
of the radio itself. Other pictures feature my method of winding 
toroids.  Then, at the end of building, you step over the "building 
finish line" to discover that you own one of the really great radios in 
the history of amateur radio. Then the operating fun begins.
