Richard,
You will find some of your answers regarding audio levels and ALC levels
on my website www.w3fpr.com - scroll down to the bottom of the left
column and click on the link.
The K3S internal soundcard will be recognized by your computer as an
audio CODEC, it can be treated just like any other soundcard.
I cannot answer about the WSJT-X settings or the Mac because I use a
Windows computer. Others will likely give you those answers.
