The macOS version of WSJT-X logs contacts in the same way as the Windows and Linux versions.
I assume the version of macOS you are running is reasonably up to date, preferably Sierra orHigh Sierra, and that you installed WSJT-X as a user.
If you are having problems logging, check WSJT-X -> Preferences to make sure you have things setup the way you want/need.
If you want to review recent QSOs, then you can go to WSTJX -> File -> Open log directorywhich will bring up a Finder window for the directory where all of the log files reside, which istypically /Users/yourusername/Library/Application Support/WSJT-X. Simply click on "wsjtx.log" andit will bring up the log file for you to inspect/search.
If you are looking to automatically log your WSJT-X QSOs directly into your logging program, youshould consult your logging program's documentation. I use RUMlog, published by Tom, DL2RUM,and there are a couple of settings within it that allow the two programs to communicate via UDPpackets within your system, and the integration is wonderful - I leave RUMlog running in the background, and operate primarily in the main WSJT-X window (while watching the waterfall on its window, primarilyto pick a clear transmit frequency), and when I actually make a QSO, and WSJT-X prompts me tolog it (because I have set my WSJT-X Preferences to do so), and I click on the "Log It" box, it sendsthe information to RUMlog, which then logs it as if I'd entered it myself. The only thing I have to dofrom there, manually, on RUMlog is to ship the QSO up to LoTW if I so choose.
Support for WSJT-X is available on the Yahoo! Group as documented in the Help files, and theyare very responsive.
Apologies if the formatting of my message looks weird on the mailing list - it's a Yahoo! problem, which tends to mangle line endings and paragraphing.
