Chapter 5 of Fred Cady's Macro Programming, has some of these plus methods of macro testing.  I used some of the content to program mine.There's plenty of references, e.g., setting a frequency is on pages 115-116, etc.

Eric,

Some of those functions are already present in the K3/K3S - read the
*entire* manual including the chart of menu functions to see more things that you can do.

- jump up/down x kHz, see VFO OFS
- increase/decrease step of tuning encoder, see VFO CRS
- switch to a different band, see "Quick Memories" - I have not used the 
BAND+ BAND- switches in a long time, band switching is a quick two
button tap.
