[Elecraft] KX3 has died

It might be the KXUSB. Try different a USB hub on the computer if you have a choice, or another computer if available.
Sometimes windows updates change the COM port number, try the steps in Kx3 utility help for finding the right COM port. It might have been a while since you last used the utility.
