Wes,

That information comes from the DSP designer who has on several 
occassions stated that the onset of ALC is at the 5th bar.
He has indicated that from the time of K3 Firmware Field Test.

Why that information is not in the K3 and K3S manuals is a mystery to 
me.  It is present in the KX3 manual.
