[Elecraft] K2 Out of Six Year Mothball with Issues

Paul,

The 2.04r is the MCU version, and it will be displayed if a button is 
held depressed when the K2 is powered on.  The right side of the display 
is the KIOC version and in your case should be 1.09.

So look for a button that is stuck on.  If you cannot see one, remove 
the metalwork from the front panel and try again.

With that button (whichever it may be) in an activated position it is 
unlikely that you can do anything with the K2.  Find that problem first 
before drawing any more conclusions.
