[Elecraft] Preamp 2 and upcoming F/W

Hi Ted,

Preamp 2 is in fact the one on the KXV3B. So any K3 running the new firmware will allow preamp 2 use on 17 and 15 meters. The NF improvement is significant (3 and 6 dB, respectively).

The firmware is being field tested now.
