Of course a rat tail file or tapered reamer is the usual way, but I bought a deburring tool at the hardware store. It's a tiny crescent-shaped knife with a handle that you put into a hole and rotate. You can hold it at an angle to remove burrs from drilling, or straight to enlarge a hole slightly. It can be used on straight edges after sawing, too. It takes a very small bite and does a neat job.

What's the best way to enlarge the hole to preserve the nice new paint?Or is there something else that I'm missing? I have Googled for this, however nothing in the first page of results seems to mention this issue. Thanks,
