Keep in mind that the Sherwood rankings are based on 3rd Order Dynamic Range at 2 Khz spacing — not on any other factor, and not on some general measure of a radio’s “goodness”.   While it isn’t necessarily unimportant even for casual rag chewing, it may not be the most important consideration.
