Hi Stan,

Welcome back!  I think you'll fall head over heels for the KX2. I have.  
The list of KX2 enthusiasts is fairly long now.  It's an excellent 
transceiver, and you can take it anywhere and set up your station.  The 
reviews on eHam back that statement up.  I've been using my unit in 
mobile and walkabout ops, along with some hiking in the local mountains 
[once with a dead power line span as an antenna].  You'll be pleased, 
however you want to use your KX2.
