Who exactly IS K3DVR ?

Wasn't he the guy who invented the famous "Downspout Vertical Radiator" antenna 
and changed his call when his company went public? 

There's no listing on QRZ.COM for that call, so I assume he's an SK now.

   I have my KDVR installed since my first K3.
My activity is 99.5% contesting... my best spent bucks definitely, in particular if you're going to be low power.
