Ken,

Please clarify what is meant by "I had problems 
with the KXPD3 which forced me to be very 
assertive!": What problems, and assertive in what 
respect?

Really a bit academic: I never owned the KXPD3 and 
have ordered the KXPD2 for its shorter arm and 
less tendency to move the KX2 around, as you observed.

Like many here, I still wait for my KXPD2 to ship.
