Well Jim from your comments it seems pretty obvious that you need to read some of the very comprehensive documentation for N1MM+. My CW speed control always works correct by using the PageUp and PageDown keys. The CQ Repeat pause function is set in the Config menu, by the USER! It is probably best that you take this topic to the N1MM+ reflector where you will find excellent support; however N1MM+ is a very comprehensive contest program and new users MUST read the setup documentation to get the program running correct and to understand how the program works.

Here are the other issues. The CQ Repeat function has no Pause like 5 seconds then starts.  The Repeat Time setting Does not do any thing that I have noticed. 
 
Also CW speed control does not work. I works manually when I turn the knob on the KX2 and 3.
