Hi Jan,

In case anyone's interested, this book was based on my NorCal 40 CW transceiver design. Prof. Rutledge created an entire course around it (EE20); the book is a hardcover collection of all the lab exercises, etc. Students built a NorCal 40 as part of the course, and many have become licensed over the years as a result. I believe the course was exported to other universities as well. 

Just doing our part for higher education :)
