[Elecraft] [P3] [Px3] Display Text Decoding on the screen

Text decode was added after the original design of the P3. That was added using the P3SVGA.

The PX3 was designed years later, and had decode built in.

If you are waiting for the P3 to have text decode without the P3SVGA, you may have a very long wait. Like forever.
