[Elecraft] Power pins on P3

It depends upon whether you want the ability to also shut off the P3 from its front panel switch.

>From your P3 Owner's manual under "Configuration": 

Pins 2 & 3: P3 turns on automatically when power is applied to the rear panel connector. P3 may be turned off and on using the POWER switch as long as power is applied.

Pins 1 & 2: POWER switch is disabled. P3 turns on automatically and remains on as long as power is
applied to the rear panel connector.

Of course those options assume you are powering the P3 from the K3 12V connector on the rear panel so the power supplied to the P3 goes on and off with the K3.
