[Elecraft] DC to DC Converter

I use a 2 KW pure sine wave DC to AC inverter in our travel trailer.
The 60 Hz THD is less than 3% as measured. I find it works quite
nice, handles the necessary equipment including the microwave, starts
the compressor on the 5 cu. ft. refrigerator and best of all, it doesn't
cause noise on the HF transceiver. One does have to be mindful of
power management. The transceiver does connect direct to the 12V
battery system. I've not had any experience with DC to DC converters.
