[Elecraft] OT: Looking for Field Day Site, Columbia SC

Ian,
One potential site may be the Congaree National Park. It is just south of
Columbia. They do have a camping site location, there are rest rooms and
plenty of parking for cars and trucks. I just did a drive-by and short
visit last week on the way to a job in Augusta. There is no admittance fee
to enter the park. The negatives are that it is in a low area along the
Congaree River and the mosquito factor may be high in June. Not sure what
their restrictions may be on radio operations.
