[Elecraft] Data mode and filters

Unlike other high-end rigs, the K3 was designed as a transportable radio. It is almost certainly the best Field Day radio ever made.

Every design has tradeoffs. If Elecraft was directly targeting the TS-990/HIlberling market, I have no doubt that you’d see a 50V PA. But they are beating all of those heavy rigs in a small package. Yes, I trust Jim Brown’s results. Though I’m a software guy now, I started my career as a DSP engineer.
