Gary on Behalf of the Board I will extend an apology to you, some here take the Hobby far to serious.
I personally enjoy it when someone tries something and shares it and we all learn from it.
I've been a Ham for a lot of years and I've seen a lot of things tried that you would think would never work but did.Though my favorite was when I flew RC aircraft and we had a Guy who against all convention used One Bladed Props.
