One big plus for the HD280s is that you can buy replacement cables for 
them. I've not seen or worn them, so have no opinion on sound or comfort.

Good to hear about the Koss SB45. The CM500 has been getting pretty 
pricy. I'll look forward to hearing from K6LL after RTTY RU.
