Jim,
I use the same for portable use, Little Tarheel II screwdriver on a small tripod and I use the KISS ground for counterpoise.
Takes about 5 mins to set up and works great!!

Like many others today, I, too, have some rather severe antenna restrictions. Before you give up on getting on the air with your K2 or K3, consider a "screwdriver" antenna. I use a Tarheel mounted on a metal tripod with caster wheels. I can roll it out onto the driveway when needed. It works surprisingly well.
