Only NiMH.

No. AA batteries only.

The consensus recommendation for internal batteries is Eneloop XX. Those are high-quality, high-capacity, low self-discharge batteries.

You don’t need a right angle BNC unless you want to dress the cables that way. I don’t use one.

I highly recommend the SideKX endplates and covers if you ever want to take the KX3 off your desk. High quality protection and a deal at $69.
