[Elecraft] Does K3 remember KPA500 settings?

The K3 has no way to command the KPA500 into any state. Aux IO communications is one-way, from the KPA500 to the K3. The KPA simply reads the BAND lines to determine the K3’s band.

Your description sounds like you have the KPA500 menu setting BAND CHG set to STBY. If this isn’t the case, let me know.
