I do get a chuckle out of these product announcements from Elecrafdt on the reflector.

THE Design Engineer - "The new Widget 2000 should have this and this and this or it's a waste of time". 

The Average Ham Radio Buyer -  "The Wideget 2000 BETTER have this or this or this feature and be FREE, or I'll stamp my feet and hold my breath, or go on EHam.net and leave a bad review, till it does"!

The product hasn't even been released yet. A little perspective is in order I think.
