Hi Gang:

Well, all this discussion regarding switching vs linear power supplies  
makes me glad I'm a QRP guy.  My power supplies are -pure- DC.   
Batteries.  No spurs, birdies, noise or whatever from chemical DC.   
Just power.    :)
