Hi Howard,
I did a total shack cleanup when I got the Elecraft K3... The details

look about halfway down in the article, under "The Final Layout", and to
the left is a photo and in the text is a link to the PS I use... 25
amps, small, and as quiet as they come as far as I can tell...
