Does the USB keyboard port on the PX3 work?

I am using a "Gear Head mini USB keyboard" with the PX3.
It is just slightly longer than the K3 (11.5 x 5.5).  It 
connects
to the PX3 with a cable no RF or Bluetooth.
I got mine at Office Depot for $12.99.
