The labelling error probably has not bothered anyone else but I like to 
have the procedure clear before getting in too deep. I have built the 
amp since my posting yesterday and on the bench it is working nicely 
into a dummy load. Having the KXPA Utility running on the computer while 
testing is a handy feature that I was not expecting.

Bernie,

Yes, the length is 1/8 inch (3.2mm).  I guess someone had a magnifier
when the manual was written  .
Look for an*errata*  coming to the Elecraft website soon!
