Phil,

It is not in the KPA100 manual, but on page 25 of the KAT100 manual.  
Look at the diagram.
Does your present cable have two 'tails' on it?  If so, the tail you are 
currently not using goes to the computer COM port.

The usual cable that is constructed for computer use with the KPA100 is 
extended when the KAT100 is added - the connector with two cables coming 
from it must connect to the KPA100.
