[Elecraft] Powerpole police here....

I kind of hope that Eric comes in and kills this thread.

I have NEVER had the power poles “fall out” of the back of my K3.  That said, I don’t pick up my radio and try to throw it across the room, I don’t have my cables arranged where I can easily get them tangled in my feet and pull them loose, and I don’t rearrange my desk (apparently nearly as frequently as most) by sliding the radio to and fro daily.  It is true that if I were to pull the radio off of the front of the desk, the power poles would pull out.  It is also true that if I threw a brick at a window, it would likely break …

>> Powerpoles done right are wonderful. (I drink the Powerpole koolaid)  Properly done they are one of the least expensive 30 amp connectors at $1 per connector. A simple tie- rap, piece of large solder, short 'U' made of 14G wire, or even 1/2 inch staple between the holes will keep the from coming un-done.
