[Elecraft] Elecraft compatible WX station

Interference works both ways ... I know. :-) I had a Davis station,
don't remember which one, and so long as I was at QRP or near QRP power
levels, all was well. The display was in the shack, the rain gauge was
on the roof, and the anemometer, wind direction, and temperature sensors
were at the top of my flag pole. The tower was about 250 ft away.

I noticed that, at 100 watts, particularly on 15 meters, transmitting
disrupted the displays, thus screwing up the wx record in the memory.
Then I got a 1 KW amplifier. The first transmission at high power,
which happened to be on 15 meters, rendered the entire wx station
inoperative ... permanently.

I finally took it apart just before putting it in the ewaste bin. There
was no RF-proofing at all, multiple examples of K9YC's "Pin 1 Problems,"
and no shielding. So, whatever one you choose, be advised that there
could be no weather while you're transmitting. :-)
