[Elecraft] KAT500 Question

Yes, "couldn't find it again" ... and, I too have stumbled into that refrain many times and not just with Elecraft manuals.

What would be nice are user manuals that are web-based (not PDF), that are heavily hyper-linked with cross references, side-bars, detail pages, and so on. It takes a lot of work to do such a thing but it is very nice when well done.

I wonder if Elecraft is interested in pursuing such a documentation effort. I submit that it is useful for the larger more comprehensive manuals like for the K3 and KX3. Other manuals are so short with more narrow topics and limited extent that such hyper-linking is not as useful.

Alternatively, maybe this would be something some customers might take on. I am retired and have the experience for such things having done it in the past for our company but I think I lack the depth and even width (OK, length too) of knowledge to do justice to the effort with Elecraft rigs that is needed. I should say though that it is a lot of work especially when you consider adding new material to an existing document for additional detail or new information.
