[Elecraft] KX3 and flrig operation

Mooneer,

I don't know if you got an answer or not, but I just verified that on
RTTY, there is an occasional delay between the SLUSB keying and the
radio keying. It's not there all the time and I did not get it to delay
on PSK31 (I only tested RTTY and PSK31). I have a couple of <CR>'s built
into my macros so that helps some.

I know I worked with you privately on this, but I was testing with my
K3. I should have tested with the KX3. Doing some other testing, I
thought I'd see what it's like for me. I see the slight delay.
Sometimes, it seems to be as much as half a second or so. This is using
my 2012 iMac with OSX 10.9.1.

However, my TX and RX LED's on the USB adapter do not stop talking. I'm
using the KX3-to-DB9 adapter and connecting it to my K3-to-USB adapter.
The K3-to-USB adapter has the TX and RX LED's. As far as I know, I have
the latest drivers for that adapter.

Here is my macro for checking into the Alabama Emergency Net:

<TX>

<ZT>
<CALL> <CALL> de W4JBB W4JBB, Joel in Tuscaloosa County.
<RX>

After the initial <TX>, there are three carriage returns.

the DLY on the SLUSB is set to fully CCW.

I'm also cross-posting into the linuxham group to see if anyone there
has any ideas.

73,
Joel - W4JBB
