Rick:
     Checked the connections. All are good now.   Spread the spades on the 
PowerPoles on all connections and tightened the Ground  and made the power 
connections tighter.   Seems to work fine  now.  Just contacted a Bloke in 
Montreal Canada and it seemed to work  fine. When transmitting the unit pulls 
about 15 amps. Has that been  your experience with the  amperage?

Gerald,

Have  you checked the power cable?  Are the connector blades of the  APP
connector fully inserted and locked over the locking blades in the  housing?
Are the connections to the power supply tight?

Too much  resistance in the power cabling (due to loose connections) can
cause  exactly what you are observing.
