Exactly what is written there. ;-) 10 seconds guaranteed. If you see more, i.e. on older K3's, be happy, but no guarantee.

That's because there is none. Message length is fixed at max. 10 seconds (or 15 on older units). If you use less, i.e. 6 seconds then only those 6 seconds are played.

Only by getting your hands onto an old KDVR3 module that still had the memory chips providing 15 seconds per memory.
