[Elecraft] K3 and hex-beam antenna

I’ve had my K3/P3 for 3 wonderful years, and my KPA500 for a bit over 2 years. Best gear I have had the good fortune to own and use! My K4KIO Hex beam has been in place for those 3 years. Mine is atop a 32’ heavy duty 1 7/8” heavy duty pipe which is bracketed to my house about 22’ feet up. Add another ‘thumbs up’ for a wonderful low profile antenna. Worked a LOT of DX with it, and so far, minimal maintenance. Maybe not an 80’ tower with a big kludge of metal at the top, but it gets the job done for me.
