> I just went through the same thing with my KX3. The problem was caused by HRD. If you're using HRD try moving the "Low Pwr Slider" to 12Watts and see if that does the trick. You will see ATU on the KX3's screen. Also the KX3 menu will drop the .X and become just ATU MD.

I had posted the same issue on this list just two weeks ago. This has been reported to HRD and will be fixed in the next version.

If you don’t touch the “high Pwr Slider”, the KX3 works OK with HRD.

DM780 hangs when asked to transmit through rig blaster advantage + KX3, but that is a non-KX3 issue.
